The UNC Asheville Office of Study Abroad aims to increase and diversify participation in its study abroad programs by helping YOU, and every student at UNCA, understand the potential to study abroad. We want to help you find your best study abroad opportunity! And we want to provide you with the support you will need to enjoy it and be successful. That means not only pointing you to potential destinations, scholarship opportunities and affordable options, but also seeking to understand other barriers you perceive to studying abroad and providing you with the information and support you need to overcome those barriers. Because YOU Can!

We will stay in touch with you while you are abroad, attending to your safety and the quality of your experience, as needed. When you return from studying abroad, we will encourage you to continue to build on your experience and to find ways to support others in finding their optimal study abroad opportunity.
