The mission of the Study Abroad Office at the University of North Carolina at Asheville is to provide access to high quality, academically grounded, international experiences to students. These experiences serve to give students the skills necessary for successful engagement in a global community. Studying Abroad provides a unique opportunity for students to diversify their college education.
Students have many choices when it comes to locations where they can study. Our staff is here to help students decide what programs will be best for them and to assist them in their application process, while they are away and upon their return.
We require that students begin their study abroad journey with an appointment with the Study Abroad office. Students can schedule an appointment, or they may take advantage of our Walk-In Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 1 p.m.-2:30 p.m. & Tuesday & Thursday Noon-2:30 p.m. We are located in 28 Ramsey Library.
