Exchange Programs

How does it work? ↓

ISEP Exchange allows you to swap spots with a student from another ISEP Exchange member institution as an international student.

Tuition, Housing, and Meals ↓

You pay your tuition & fees, housing, and meals to your home institution and open up a spot for someone to come learn at your university.

Can I use Financial Aid? ↓

It is possible for you to transfer your Federal, state, and institutional aid toward your ISEP Exchange program. Set up a meeting with your home institution’s financial aid office to learn the details.

Chances of Placement ↓

The Chance of Placement for Exchange programs ranges from “Excellent” to “Most Competitive.” ISEP cannot guarantee placement at one specific institution on an Exchange program.

How many programs should I apply to? ↓

You may list up to 10 programs on a single application. We recommend listing at least 3-5 programs you would be excited and able to attend. If applying to ISEP Exchange programs, you should list at least one to two programs that have a “good” chance of placement or better. Placement decisions are made based on exchange space available and academic fit.

When should I apply? ↓

If applying for a summer, fall, or full-year program, the priority deadline is March 1. If applying for spring or calendar year programs, the priority deadline is September 15.
