Centre International D'etudes Francaises (CIDEF) is located in Angers, France.  Angers is one of the most delightful cities in France.  It lies in the heart of the Loire Valley, an hour and a half from Paris.  Angers is the capital of the famous Anjou wine-producing region.

The university has a community of more than 12,000 students, including 1,500 internationals each year to study French.  CIDEF offers courses in French language and culture, including Philosophy, French History, Art and Music History, Civilization, and Literature.

The University is located in the heart of Angers, minutes away from the main shopping area, restaurants and gardens.  The University town offers a 13th century castle, museums, film festivals, music, theater, 67 km of cycle paths, and 360 hectares of parks and gardens.  Efficient public transportation includes buses and trams, with 15 high-speed connections to Paris daily.

Applications:  Applications are available in the Study Abroad Office, 28 Ramsey Library.  Completed applications are due by February 19, 2017.  Please turn in the completed application along with the $150 application processing fee to the Study Abroad office.
